NECは、世界的に著名なESG調査・格付け会社であるS&Pグローバル社が発行する「The Sustainability Yearbook 2026」において、6年連続でITサービスセクターの「Top 10％」に選定されました（注）。

S&Pグローバル社は、毎年Corporate Sustainability Assessment（以下、CSA）を実施し、世界各国の大手企業をガバナンス・経済、環境、社会の3つの側面から評価しています。
2025年のCSAで評価された9,200社以上から、59セクター848社が、サステナビリティに優れた企業として「Top 1%」「Top 5%」「Top 10%」「Yearbook Member」のいずれかの格付けで「The Sustainability Yearbook 2026」に掲載されました。
なお、NECは、CSAをもとに毎年選定する「Dow Jones Best-in-Class World Index」および「Dow Jones Best-in-Class Asia Pacific Index」の構成銘柄にも組み入れられています。

NEC named to the “Top 10％” of “The Sustainability Yearbook 2026“ for the sixth consecutive year
Tokyo, February 26, 2026 - NEC Corporation (NEC; TSE: 6701) has been named to the “Top 10%” of the IT Services sector in “The Sustainability Yearbook 2026” published by S&P Global, a globally renowned ESG research and rating company, for the sixth consecutive year (*).
S&P Global conducts the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) annually, evaluating major global companies across the “Governance & Economic,” “Environmental” and “Social” dimensions.
From among more than 9,200 companies assessed in the 2025 CSA, 848 companies across 59 industries were selected for inclusion in The Sustainability Yearbook 2026 under one of the following distinctions: “Top 1%,” “Top 5%,” “Top 10%,” or “Yearbook Member,” in recognition of their outstanding sustainability performance.
In addition, NEC has continued to be included as a constituent of the Dow Jones Best-in-Class World Index and the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Asia Pacific Index, that are selected annually based on CSA results.
NEC became a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact in 2005, which was founded on the basic principles of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption, and seeks to minimize the burdens that business activities may have on society. NEC aims to contribute to the creation of value for society through its business, and to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) launched by the United Nations. Over the course of NEC's Mid-term Management Plan 2025, in order to promote sustainable growth, the company endeavors to achieve continuous inclusion in ESG indexes by advancing initiatives for materiality, which are priority management themes from an ESG perspective. NEC’s latest ESG initiatives are reported in the NEC ESG Databook 2025.
NEC also aims to create the social values of safety, security, fairness and efficiency to promote a more sustainable world where everyone has the chance to reach their full potential. Based on the NEC Way, a common set of values that form the basis for how the entire NEC Group conducts itself, NEC contributes to achieving the SDGs.
