放送は2025年8月30日（土）14:40より15分間（日本時間）行われ、その後、NHK Worldにて計5回放送されます。NHK Worldは世界160以上の国と地域で視聴可能であり、本放送に加え、オンデマンドで1年間視聴可能なほか、YouTubeで公開される可能性もあります。

番組概要
「BOSAI: Science that Can Save Your Life」は、防災を科学的に紐解き、命を守るための知識と対策を世界に発信する番組です。今回のテーマは「海の防災」。毎年夏に多発する離岸流による事故や漂流を取り上げ、その解決策として最新の海洋テクノロジーを紹介します。
番組では、離岸流をAI映像解析で検知する「海流監視システム」や、流されても救助者に自分の位置を知らせられる「リアルタイム位置情報システム」が登場。当社の技術はその中核として、スマートウォッチとスマートフォンを活用し、漂流者の位置を自動的に把握・共有し、迅速な救命対応を可能にする仕組みとして紹介されます。
